Welcome to Russell's Auto Salon! We are your full-service auto body shop and collision repair specialist, located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, featuring a state-of-the art facility and expert technicians, who have a combined 135+ years experience. Our focus is on quality and results, and we guarantee our craftsmanship for the owner's life of the car!

Leo Starbuck & Ron Wentzel purchased Russell's in Jan 2024 from Phil Spahr & Terry Paulson, who had owned & operated Russell's since 1990. The business has been a pillar in the community for decades, and the new owners plan to continue that tradition into the future. Leo was born and raised in Steamboat and Ron has been in Steamboat part-time since 1987, moving here full time in 2000. Their most recent partnership was joint ownership in Rocky Mountain Metal, Inc (located in Hayden, manufacturing metal roofing & siding for their wholesale customers) which was started by Ron in 2008 and sold in Jan of 2023 to Delta Building Center.

Our focus at Russell's Auto Body moving forward is to continue the friendly quality service that Russell's is known for and to increase capacity as there continues to be more demand for auto body repair as Steamboat and the surrounding communities continue to grow. We give free estimates with no appointment needed Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Our goal is to make your repairs as painless as possible, as the insurance companies do not make it easy for their customers to navigate the system. Most customers do not know that, per Colorado state law, they can take their vehicle to the repair shop of their choice, not where their insurance agent is telling them to go. We will negotiate with the insurance companies to get our customers vehicle repaired back to showroom condition.
